Image Coalition - The group that formed from the remnants
of the Melbourne Super 8 Film Group in late 2001. Site has programs
of previous screenings, plus general info.

Underground Film Festival - Since 2000, Melbourne's major
alternative film festival, devoted to experimental as well as
exploitational cinema.

International Film Festival - Melbourne's major forum
for international cinema, it also programs Australian indie work
from time to time.

Film Commission - Australia's federal funding body for
film. Site has funding guidelines and application forms for filmmakers,
as well as news, resources, etc.

Centre for the Moving Image - Melbourne's official film/video/digital
centre. Site has info on their collections, programming at their
cinemas, and much more.
Senses
of Cinema - Online film journal based in Melbourne, it
has critical pieces on Australian filmmakers such as the Cantrills,
Paul Cox, Lowenstein, etc.

- Online version of the Australian hard-copy arts magazine, which
has a section "On Screen", which features digital /
new media quite prominently.
Scopofile
- The site of the Melbourne indie film magazine that existed from
2000-02 (you can order back issues), and also the site for Scopofile
Productions.

- Melbourne organisation that organises various events around
new media, film, sound, performance, and publishes the journal
Mesh.

Network Australia - SNA provides a thorough directory

Up - Another Australian messageboard, especially
catering for actors.
