1 Half way to Budapest, at Frankfurt Airport. 2 In my hotel in Budapest, this is the bizarre view of the street outside, a main street, under reconstruction. 3 My hotel is the 2nd building from the corner, at the left. 4 Great buildings everywhere, even in side streets, but which I couldn't explore much because of the freezing weather. 5 6 7 The internet cafe I used, around the corner from the hotel. 8 9 Hot red wine at Xmas outdoor festivities ! 10 11 Me with Kriszta Doczy. 12 We ate in this place. (rather than stay outside!) 13 My 2nd day started like this, big snow !! And the temp at -5, as a maximum ... it dropped a few degrees cooler later at night. 14 15 16 17 I meet Andras at Burger King. 18 19 We go to Taj Mahal restaurant. 20 21 The Taj's bathroom. 22 We then wandered ... photographing things ... 23 24 25 26 We end up at this pub. 27 Lest we forget ! 28 29 30 The 3rd day, I just HAVE to see the Danube. 31 32 33 34 Just hangin' around. 35 36 37 Kriszta feeds her friends Hungarian fish soup ! Forget the vegies, throw in the fish !! 38 39 40 41 The morning I was leaving of course ... the sun comes out ... 42 At Budapest airport. 43 44 45 At Munich airport waiting for 9 hours. 46
